The Celebrity Source specializes in securing celebrities for celebrity spokesperson campaigns, celebrity endorsements, television specials and documentaries, infomercials, premieres, product seeding and celebrity gifting programs, special events and sports tournaments, red carpet events, celebrity fashion shows, parades, cause-related marketing and pr campaigns, product launches, celebrity social media and Internet projects, video talent (including webisodes) and narration, celebrity speakers and celebrity appearances. 

Started over 35 years ago by Rita Tateel, Tateel is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and Engage for Good. She is also a founding member, board member and advisor to the Association of Celebrity Personal Assistants (ACPA), National Chair of PRSA’s Professional Development Committee, and the founding chair and current Executive Committee member for PRSA’s national Entertainment & Sports professional interest section. Ms. Tateel is also a two-term past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of PRSA (PRSA-LA).

Laurie Kessler, CEO since 2019, is an expert in promoting both products and people. She has extensive experience in entertainment, talent relations and representation, celebrity bookings, events, media, marketing, promotions, publicity, video production and branding campaigns.  She has worked with literally thousands of celebrities and luminaries, brands, non-profits, and media conglomerates – and is highly adept at determining client needs and priorities, and delivering
strategic solutions and results.

Laurie has been thrilled taking the helm of The Celebrity Source, where she gets to be a “celebrity matchmaker” between stars and the brands and organizations interested in them – working with talent from every industry including actors, entertainers, athletes, musicians, artists, politicians, authors, influencers, expert speakers and beyond.
