Insights

Growing Recognition The Center for Education Reform (CER) has achieved notable success in gaining recognition and influence within the education policy space, evidenced by recent rankings such as Florida #1 on the Parent Power list. This indicates a strong presence and credibility that can be leveraged for partnerships, sponsorships, or collaborative initiatives aimed at expanding program impact.

Expanding Outreach CER actively engages in public outreach through innovative campaigns like Parent Power reports and partnerships with organizations such as the Yass Prize and Friedenskreis Halle. This demonstrates ongoing community engagement and potential opportunities to offer digital tools or content management solutions to support their communication and advocacy efforts.

Digital Engagement Platforms With a tech stack including WordPress, jQuery Mobile, YouTube, and social media integrations, CER relies heavily on digital platforms for dissemination and engagement. Vendors providing content management, audience analytics, or website optimization services could find collaboration opportunities to enhance their online presence and reach.

Funding and Growth Potential While current revenue is modest with up to one million dollars, CER's strategic partnerships and recent initiatives suggest opportunities to introduce educational technology, fundraising platforms, or grant management solutions to support their expansion and program delivery.

Focus on Policy and Advocacy CER's active involvement in policy advocacy, public events, and competitions positions it as a gateway for solutions targeted at education reform, policy monitoring, or legislative tracking tools. Business development efforts could target these areas to foster deeper collaboration with the organization and its stakeholders.

Founded in 1993, the Center for Education Reform aims to expand educational opportunities that lead to improved economic outcomes for all Americans — particularly our youth — ensuring that conditions are ripe for innovation, freedom and flexibility throughout U.S. education.

While countries around the globe are evolving and retooling to capitalize on innovation and the rapidly changing landscape of careers, the U.S.—burdened by bureaucracy and a century-old infrastructure—has stagnated. It’s been happening for decades now, and the chasm is getting wider.

These disturbing trends prompted Jeanne Allen to establish The Center for Education Reform—the first of its kind—back in 1993. Nearly a quarter century later, CER continues to fight this all-important fight, boldly leading the charge on the street, into town halls, up the Capitol steps and across its aisles.

We put our experience, our network, our assets, and our passion to work for the cause. Whether we’re steering media outreach to generate publicity, producing events in pivotal markets, interfacing with lawmakers, or connecting innovators and their products with investors and schools to accelerate their impact, our mission is simple: to give learners at all levels the opportunity to shape their education.
