The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck is a performing arts venue in Rhinebeck, New York. It began as a summer tent series spanning 1994 through 1997, with construction of a permanent facility beginning in October 1997; the building’s barn-like exterior is designed to fit the rural landscape and reflect the origins of summer stock. In 1999, the center shifted to year-round operations, with the building open seven days a week for extended daily hours.

Since then, the center has hosted more than 1,100 productions and drawn over 240,000 patrons. It has involved roughly 15,000 artists across productions and trained about 1,600 students, ranging in age from four to eighty, in various aspects of the theater arts. The organization operates as a small cultural institution within the performing arts field, serving local audiences, performers, and students with performances, workshops, and events.
