The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is a regional museum dedicated to preserving and displaying American art, with a distinctive focus on the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Its holdings include Tiffany’s glass and interior design pieces, the chapel interior from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, and objects from Laurelton Hall, along with American art pottery, painting, graphics, and decorative arts from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Located in Winter Park, Florida, the museum operates as part of the Charles Hosmer Morse Foundation and relies on support from associated foundations, without public funding. The institution serves visitors and scholars interested in American art and design history, offering a curatorial perspective that documents Tiffany’s influence and related American art movements. A notable recent development is the museum’s expansion of its campus and exhibition space, increasing capacity to nearly 20,000 square feet and enabling broader display of its collections.
