The Children’s Room is Massachusetts’ largest independent nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and teens who are grieving the death of a parent, primary caregiver, or sibling. Children who are grieving face increased risks of mental health challenges and academic disengagement, underscoring the importance of TCR’s grief support services. TCR’s transformative programs provide a safe, welcoming space where participants can share their stories, build connections, and find hope. Through peer support, they discover they are not alone, connecting with others who truly understand their experiences. This sense of belonging fosters resilience and helps individuals carry their memories forward while finding new ways to navigate grief together. All of TCR’s programs are offered free of charge, ensuring that every family has access to the compassionate care they need.
