The Coalition for Peace Action is a small, grassroots civic organization based in Princeton, New Jersey. It brings together people of diverse ages, backgrounds, professions, and political persuasions to pursue three aims: the global abolition of nuclear weapons, a peace-oriented economy, and an end to weapons trafficking both at home and abroad. The group emphasizes broad citizen involvement and coalition building to advance these goals. 
 
 Operating within the civic and social sector, CFPA acts as a facilitator of community action and public advocacy around disarmament, economic peace, and anti-trafficking efforts. In July 2023, it partnered with the City of Oakland, District 3, and The 4 Peace Coalition to coordinate with Oakland Public Works on addressing large junk disposal in West Oakland, illustrating its collaboration with local government and cross-community initiatives.
