The arts are the live performances and invigorating creations that bind us together through a shared experience of beauty. We believe access to the Arts is fundamental to human thriving. That’s why our non-profit mission is to make sure that everyone has the chance to experience the arts for themselves - today, and far into the future. In addition to the internationally renowned shows we host on our stage each summer, we have recently turned up the volume on that mission in three key ways: First, we have worked to remove barriers to the arts in our community, starting with the performances right here on our Main Stage. At the beginning of 2024, we made all of our performing arts shows completely free to attend. Over 100,000 fans have joined us for free since. We are also continually diversifying our season of shows, making sure there are offerings that appeal to everyone – and that everyone feels like they belong when they arrive. Second, we have vastly expanded the scope of our arts outreach programming. In 2025 our team put on over 170 outreach events, each specifically tailored to introducing a new demographic to the arts. These events are moving the needle on inspiration in our community. And finally, we have made a dedicated investment in the future of the arts by awarding hundreds of grants to local arts educators, over $750,000 in the last year. These grants open the door for educators to attend crucial professional development opportunities, put instruments and key supplies in the hands of students and make sure that arts organizations in our community can continue to thrive. We have also strengthened our remarkable scholarship program, awarding more scholarships in higher amounts than ever before. Why do any of this? Because in a world full of arguments and polarization, the arts can unify. In a world where everything sounds like static, the arts can inspire through beauty. In a world where many feel lonely or isolated, the arts can provide belonging.
