The Education Cooperative (TEC) is a regional nonprofit organization based in Walpole, Massachusetts, and it operates as the first educational collaborative in the state. It provides a continuum of special education programs for students ages 3 through 22, designed to meet learning, physical, social-emotional, and health-care needs in a supportive, personalized environment. These programs are offered to both member and non-member districts and are taught by certified Massachusetts teachers, therapists, and specialists. TEC’s primary objective is to promote student growth and independence with the aim of reintegrating students into their home schools and communities whenever feasible. The organization coordinates educational and organizational programs for a network of member communities, including Canton, Dedham, Dover, Dover-Sherborn, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Natick, Needham, Norwood, Sherborn, Walpole, Wayland, and Westwood.
