The Farms Country Club is a member-owned recreational facility in Wallingford, Connecticut, established on a site that previously operated as a farm. Since opening in 1962 with an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse, the club has expanded to include an Olympic-size swimming pool and six tennis courts, with renovations in 1986 that enlarged the dining space and added a pool deck. The organization operates as a private club governed by a twelve-member Board of Governors, and it emphasizes member voting privileges across all classes of membership, supported by a professional staff. Located in the broader New Haven area, The Farms has focused on providing a family-oriented recreation and social venue for several decades. The club positions itself within the recreational facilities industry, offering a combination of golf, swimming, and tennis amenities to its members in a historic, community-focused setting.
