The Fatted Calf is a non-profit organization dedicated to glorifying and obeying God by providing training and career development to the fatherless and less-privileged of Mexico. Funds generated through donations are used to benefit the needy of Mexico through hands-on education, training, and career and entrepreneurial opportunities. The Fatted Calf cooperates closely with the orphanage Casa Vida y Esperanza to provide hope to children, but The Fatted Calf is not limited to helping orphans and plans to provide training to other needy persons in Mexico as well. 

The Fatted Calf teaches both leadership skills and meat science. We provide leadership training using Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People as a framework and teach meat science utilizing both classroom and hands-on environments. We will provide opportunities for accomplishment and use these experiences to teach the importance of a strong work ethic, personal responsibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
