The Fletcher Academy is North Carolina’s oldest private, independent school dedicated solely to students with learning differences. We have served hundreds of families by focusing on students’ abilities. Individualized curriculum, consistent structure and processes, and exceptionally small class sizes allow our stellar faculty to bring out the best in students. At TFA, we partner with students, to BELIEVE in themselves, to ACHIEVE their goals, to EXPLORE their world, and to SOAR to their potential. We celebrate each student’s abilities by providing individualized instruction in a supportive environment. We integrate academics, behavior, athletics, and skills for life into a challenging curriculum which provides opportunities for growth and success. For over 30 years, students, parents, and faculty have been invested in making The Fletcher Academy a School of Achievement. Students entering TFA must have a current diagnosis of a Specified Learning Disability (dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia) and/or ADD / ADHD (Inattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive, or Combined).
