The Flying Cupcake opened it's doors in 2007 as Indiana's FIRST CUPCAKE BAKERY.  Other cupcake bakeries have come and gone since The Flying Cupcake First opened but none have been open as long or are as beloved as Indy's Original The Flying Cupcake.  Voted as the BEST CUPCAKES in Indy since first opening over 10 years ago, The Flying Cupcake has grown to 6 area locations, two cupcake food trucks, 1 donut shop (The Dancing Donut), and 1 full service restaurant (The Lemon Bar in downtown Zionsville).  Featured on CNN and in USA Today, Midwest Living, Paul Deen Magazine, and in Buzzfeed (13th BEST CUPCAKE BAKERY IN THE WORLD), it is not difficult to understand why people local and just visit come to the nearest location.
