The Genesis Foundation for Children is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that funds diagnosis and coordinated care for children born with genetic disorders, rare diseases, and disabilities. It has guided diagnosis, care, and family guidance for more than 60,000 children and families across Massachusetts and New England, and it supports therapy and performing arts programs. A central program is The Feingold Service at Mass General for Children’s Division of Medical Genetics and Metabolism, which addresses clinical needs by connecting families with medical specialists, coordinating multiple appointments, and operating satellite clinics while providing time to answer parents’ questions. The Genesis Foundation traces its origins to 1982, when Dr. Murray Feingold founded The Genesis Fund, later renamed The Genesis Foundation in 2014. In October 2023, the foundation announced a partnership with Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Palwal to support care for underprivileged children with congenital heart defects.
