The Glen Club is a golf facility in Glenview, Illinois, featuring a course designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio. The site carries a history as a Naval Air Base, where runways and only three feet of elevation change defined the landscape before it was transformed. The redevelopment created a dynamic terrain with rolling berms, expansive views, and natural transitions.
The course presents dramatic elevation changes—up to 40 feet on certain holes—alongside mature trees, lakes, streams, and 75 acres of prairie grass integrated into the layout. Notable design elements include par 3s oriented to different compass directions, large-par 5s with ample driving zones and forgiving landing areas, a mix of par 4s, and a picturesque finishing hole with two water features and strategically placed bunkers that challenge precise shot-making.
