The Grannie Annie Family Story Celebration was a small publishing initiative based in St. Louis, Missouri, focused on collecting and sharing historical family narratives. It produced twenty published collections, including 571 stories written by young people, along with related writing resources, and operated for about twenty years before the organizers announced they could no longer continue. The collections and resources have been transferred to the Missouri Historical Society Library & Research Center for continued access through the library and associated museums. PDFs of all twenty collections, the topical index, the family-story-writing resource, and archived copies of the website will remain accessible digitally through Internet Archive. This arrangement ensures ongoing access for the public and researchers beyond the program's active years.
