Welcome to The Guidance Center where we offer a full continuum of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, adults, and families who experience mental health or substance use issues. 

We offer mental health, substance abuse and crisis psychiatric services 24-hours/7-days a week. The Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program is a residential treatment facility, located on site. The Psychiatric Acute Care Unit is a 16-bed intensive, short-term psychiatric hospital. 

We also offer outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment for adults, children, and families. Our services are tailored to meet individual and family needs which include: individual and group counseling, services for serious mental illness, case management, and medication management, psychiatric and nursing services. We also provide vocational and housing support services as well as having a full time pharmacy.

The Guidance Center has been serving the behavioral health needs of Flagstaff and surrounding communities since 1969. The behavioral health field is constantly changing and we strive to meet and prepare for future behavioral health needs in our community. We are deeply committed to our mission and goal of improving the behavioral health of our community. It is our objective to be the provider of choice for behavioral health services in Northern Arizona, offering a full range of high quality, cost-effective services.
