Based in Flagstaff, Northern Arizona, The Guidance Center provides a full continuum of behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with mental health or substance use issues. The organization operates 24/7 crisis psychiatric services and maintains an on-site residential treatment facility for substance use. It also operates a 16-bed psychiatric acute care unit for short-term inpatient care, alongside outpatient services.

Since 1969 it has served the Flagstaff area and surrounding communities, with the aim of improving local behavioral health and expanding access to services. In November 2025, The Guidance Center formed a partnership with Northern Arizona University to provide daily onsite behavioral health services at a Flagstaff shelter.
