The Hance Family Foundation is a nonprofit children's organization created to honor three young sisters Emma, Alyson and Katie Hance. These sisters died in 2009, but through the activities of this Foundation we celebrate their spirits, their love of life, and the kindness and joy that embodied our girls. The Foundation supports children’s endeavors, such as our flagship self esteem educational programming: The Emma, Alyson, and Katie Hance Projects (the EAK Projects), which foster community spirit, social skills, and self-esteem in children ages 5-18. The largest of our projects is the educational self esteem project for girls: Beautiful Me...The EAK Project. We also add to children’s lives through substantial donations to schools and children’s organizations, and through holiday drives and delivery of school supplies. The Hance Family Foundation hosts its only major fundraiser every spring, but collects donations all year long to fund our programs. We are based in Floral Park, NY but are growing quickly, touching the lives of children across Long Island, in NYC, NJ, Chicago, Philadelphia, and potentially nationwide! Healthy, happy, and safe children are the highest priority for the Hance Family Foundation. We are a certified non-profit 501c3.
