The International Law Review Association (ILRA) is a publishing organization affiliated with SMU Dedman School of Law that oversees the production of two student-run international law journals: The International Lawyer and The Year-in-Review. Its Editorial Board manages the editorial and publication processes for these publications, which have a long-standing association with the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law dating back to the 1960s, with SMU Law serving as their home since 1986. The International Lawyer is issued triannually and aims to deliver contemporary analysis on topics such as trade, finance, taxation, dispute resolution, and related areas of international business law, while The Year-in-Review provides an annual survey of significant legal developments of the prior year, drawing contributions from multiple ABA committees and sharing a readership aligned with The International Lawyer.
