The Journey Home is an open ended treatment center for women ages 18 and older who are looking to recover from alcohol and drug abuse. We treat addiction specific and co-occurring disorders with a staff of four master's levels clinicians and a 16 bed maximum for our residential program. We offer a holistic approach to the treatment of addictions focusing on mental, physical, social, and spiritual aspects. Clients will work the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous while in the residential program and get acclimated to AA through attendance in regular outside and in house AA meetings. Clients are able to address any accompanying underlying issues such as co-dependency, grief, relationship addiction, body image, and more. Our mission is to empower women to achieve and maintain long term sobriety through the the instillation of hope and support for our clients. The Journey Home also offers a structured sober-living facility within 11 miles of our residential program called Riley House that houses women ages 18 and older looking to maintain sobriety while pursuing work or education. The Riley House offers in house staff as well as accountability through randomized drug screens, meeting requirements, and more. Please contact Crystal, Director of Sober Living, at 225-503-5746 for availability and inquiries.
