The Julian Center is a mid-sized nonprofit organization in Central Indiana that provides comprehensive support to victims of domestic violence and their children. It offers safe shelter and various housing options (transitional, permanent) along with counseling, outreach, and education services. Its stated aim is to break the cycle of domestic violence for the families it serves. Based in Central Indiana, the organization operates within the civic and social sector in the United States and serves a regional community. In 2021, The Julian Center partnered with the Indianapolis Art Center to produce an art installation titled \"33, Three Forty Two\" to raise awareness of teen dating violence and to foster community support for survivors. Earlier efforts include Project Avery, launched in 2019 to provide a text-based resource line and online referrals for teens and young adults (ages 13-24) experiencing dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking.
