The Legionaries of Christ are a Roman Catholic religious congregation of priests and seminarians who live in international communities and take vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Their formation is a lengthy process, averaging about 14 years, designed to balance contemplative life with active missionary work leading to priestly ordination. They operate within the Regnum Christi Federation, which brings together four vocations—Legionaries of Christ, Consecrated Women, Lay Consecrated Men, and Lay Members—sharing a Christ-centered spirituality in communion with the wider Church. The group emphasizes forming apostles who seek to transform hearts, families, and communities through their ministry.
