The Life Center Church is a faith-based religious institution based in Eatonville, Florida, with a long history dating back to 1957 when it was founded as The Mt. Carmel Institutional Missionary Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Bishop Ronald F. Kimble, Sr., who became pastor in 1977, the church underwent a name change and expanded its ministry, establishing additional churches in Ocala, Titusville, and Monrovia, Liberia, while developing a broader set of programs and facilities. The organization operates a multi-facility campus that includes a worship space, educational and administrative buildings, a multipurpose area, a bookstore, and a prayer chapel, along with The Life Academy, an educational program serving students from kindergarten through ninth grade. Its activities appear designed to serve both the local congregation and the wider Central Florida community through edification, education, administration, and recreation. The Life Center Church positions itself within the religious institutions industry, reflecting a structure that supports community worship, education, and outreach through a centralized complex and affiliated congregations.
