The Louise D. and Morton J. Macks Center for Jewish Education is a constituent agency of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The agency serves as a partner and resource for educational planning, addressing the educational needs of the community on behalf of the federation and the Jewish community. Together, the CJE and THE ASSOCIATED work to make Baltimore a more vibrant Jewish community for all of its members. Mission: The Macks Center for Jewish Education promotes and facilitates lifelong learning that nurtures Jewish identity and strengthens Jewish community. Vision: Baltimore will be a community in which Jews of all ages, affiliations and interests will be engaged in some form of Jewish learning experience. CJE will be a creative catalyst, encouraging Jewish growth and innovation for individuals, families, and our community as a whole. We will promote greater participation in Jewish communal life and facilitate meaningful, enriching Jewish learning experiences, while helping to develop new ways for members of the Jewish community to connect with each other and with the Jewish people around the world. We will also develop creative ways to foster a strong identification with Israel and the people of Israel.
