Magic is a craft and an art form that relies on the community built around it.  Sharing techniques, jam sessions with friends, and thousands of books are all necessities to the foundation of this amazing art.  The learning process is an endless journey and will only go as far as you take it.  Some people are lucky enough to be fully immersed in the magic community on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis.  Others have only limited access via internet forums or YouTube videos.
In recent years it has become increasingly easier and easier to find credible (and some not-so-credible) sources with a quick, one word google search.  Aside from internet based sources of information, social networking has also grow in popularity among magicians to further congregate and unite the creative thinkers and aspiring conjurors of the world.  From Twitter followers to Facebook friends, the world of magic is moving closer together as it simultaneously grows and flourishes.
On that note, I welcome you to the Magic Venture project!  You have reached a revolutionary addition to the magic community.  Our goal is to provide a detailed hub of information, news, and resources.  This is a place where the new and the old are molded together, amounting to a hybrid way of sharing and acquiring knowledge.
