The Mardan Foundation of Educational Therapy, Inc. operates The Mardan School, an educational program aimed at supporting bright children whose emotional, social, behavioral, or learning difficulties have hindered success in traditional classroom settings. It offers an alternative education option across grade levels, serving students who are at risk in early grades and those in high school seeking a smaller, more individually focused and supportive environment. Based in Irvine, California, the organization participates in education administration programs, providing services designed to help students overcome barriers to learning and succeed academically. With a focus on tailoring education to individual needs, the school situates itself within a niche that addresses the needs of students who require a non-traditional approach to schooling. The organization appears to be small-to-medium in size and emphasizes a localized, student-centered educational approach in the region. A recent development within the sector includes similar institutions providing specialized educational therapy and alternative programs for students requiring intensified support, illustrating the broader context in which the school operates.
