Founded in 1989, The Menopause Society is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals and providing them with tools and resources they need to improve the health of women during the menopause transition and beyond. Its multidisciplinary membership of 3,000 leaders in the field – including clinical and basic science experts from medicine, nursing, sociology, psychology, nutrition, anthropology, epidemiology, pharmacy, and education – allows the Society to be uniquely qualified to provide information that is both accurate and unbiased, not for or against any point of view. The Menopause Society publishes the scientific, peer-reviewed journal Menopause. We are pleased to be recognized as the preeminent resource on all aspects of menopause to both healthcare professionals and the public. The Menopause Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
