The National Arts Club is a New York City–based nonprofit organization founded in 1898, with a mission to stimulate and promote public interest in the arts and to educate people in the fine arts. It operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and occupies a historic clubhouse—the former Samuel Tilden Mansion—in New York City. The organization presents programs across arts disciplines, including exhibitions, performances, lectures, and readings, aimed at a broad public audience. Each year it offers more than 150 free programs delivered both in person and online, drawing tens of thousands of attendees. In addition to its public programming, the NAC engages in partnerships and community initiatives, such as concerts with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem and collaborations with the Sphinx Organization, and has launched recent exhibitions like In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870-1940, featuring works from the Bank of America Collection.
