The National Catholic Bioethics Center is the preeminent Catholic medical ethics institution in the United States and its board of directors includes three Cardinals and five Archbishops. With a focus in four key areas: Consultation, Education, Publication, and Public Policy, the NCBC provides critical information to institutions and individuals who are grappling with serious ethical issues in a world often plagued by a lack of respect for human dignity. The NCBC steps in to use Catholic moral thought to protect the whole human person. The NCBC has been defending human dignity in medicine and the life sciences since 1972.
