The Nicholson Foundation was a small philanthropic organization based at The College of New Jersey in New Jersey, United States. For more than two decades, it focused on addressing the complex needs of vulnerable populations in urban and other underserved communities across the state. It supported improvements to health and human service delivery by partnering with policymakers, stakeholders, and service providers.

Its Newark office was closed by the end of 2021 as part of a broader wind-down, with the foundation indicating that its last grants would be made through mid-2020. Earlier program activity included a 2018 initiative to address Adverse Childhood Experiences and, in 2017, the launch of the New Jersey Asthma In-Home Intervention Pilot Project with the state Department of Health.
