The Offshore Group, now operating as Tetakawi, operates in the international trade and development space, focusing on facilitating manufacturing activities in Mexico. Based in Tucson, Arizona, the company has built a suite of infrastructure and services designed to help clients assess, start, and sustain manufacturing operations in Mexico. Over the past 33 years, hundreds of companies have used these capabilities to establish a manufacturing footprint in the country. Its primary customers are foreign manufacturers seeking to investigate or expand production in Mexico, with the aim of helping them manage the early-stage assessment as well as ongoing operations. The organization is mid-sized, with a workforce in the mid-range, and its activities fall under the broader field of international trade and development. A notable recent development was a partnership with NAI Group announced in October 2020, reflecting collaboration within the ecosystem.
