The Open Studios Press was founded in 1993 as a vehicle for facilitating contact between artists and art enthusiasts. To date, our critically acclaimed periodical, New American Paintings, has featured the work of more than 3,000 painters from throughout the United States, many of whom have gone on to receive international attention. The publication benefits artists and viewers alike. While included painters receive international exposure, those with an interest in contemporary painting are provided with an invaluable resource for discovering new artistic talent.

Over the past decade, The Open Studios Press has continued to develop products that bridge the gulf between the creators and consumers of fine art. In 2007, we launched Studio Visit magazine, a periodical book which allows international artists working in a variety of media to gain exposure for their work. Another project, OSP Catalogs, offers affordable, high-quality catalog design and production services to artists, galleries, and museums throughout the country.
