The Ottawa Mission is a non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1906 to assist people who are homeless, hungry, or otherwise in need by providing essential services. In 2024-2025, it sheltered about 187 men on an average nightly basis and served roughly 3,312 meals per day. Beyond shelter, the Mission offers health-related services, mental health and addiction support, hospice and dental care, housing assistance, educational and job-training opportunities, spiritual care, and clothing, aligning with a housing-focused approach established in 2019. Serving men and women in the community, it operates within the non-profit sector and addresses homelessness and hunger through a range of coordinated supports. In February 2026, The Ottawa Mission partnered with Smart Youth Ottawa and Smart Youth Network to host Legacy in Motion for Black History Month in Ottawa, highlighting ongoing community engagement.
