Our mission is to improve the quality of life for active duty and veteran military families by engaging donors to support nonprofit service providers that are the most qualified to fulfill those needs. Our vision is to be a foremost resource for donors to gain awareness and contribute resources to support the critical, unmet needs of America’s all-volunteer military service members, veterans and their families.

We saw the need to simplify this process for donors. The Patriots Initiative is a resource for identifying and evaluating those organizations. The Patriots Initiative carefully researches and rigorously evaluates nonprofits providing services to the military community. The TPI Directory, based on these evaluations, is a comprehensive listing of trustworthy and accountable nonprofits doing the best work supporting military service members and their families. The Directory is a resource for donors seeking the finest nonprofit service providers.
