The Planning Partnership (TPP) is committed to co-creating complete and liveable environments with their clients and the community. Our mission is to be highly collaborative, fully engaged and dedicated to innovation and excellence in design. We are responsible to our professions, our clients, to each other, and, in so doing, to the success of the communities we help to shape. 

Located in Toronto, The Planning Partnership Ltd. was formally established in 2002 to provide a full range of consulting services to public and private sector clients. Over the years, we have continued to grow and evolve to include seven principals and a staff of twenty-three individuals with diverse expertise in urban planning, policy development, urban design, landscape architecture, landscape ecology, architectural control, public consultation, and graphic communications. 

We work at all scales, from regional to municipal, to community to neighbourhood, to site-specific, and in both urban and rural settings. We work for local and regional municipalities, the provincial government, major institutions, community groups, business associations, and the private sector. Our objective is to create award-winning projects, studies, and plans for healthy and sustainable development. 

TPP is often engaged in complex planning projects involving a myriad of stakeholders and is recognized for the unique consensus building approach to consultation and the breadth of experience that it brings to all of its projects. TPP is evenly divided between public and private sector projects, giving the firm a balanced perspective. Our approach to policy, design and development is predicated on ongoing public facilitation throughout every project and weighs the most current principles of growth management and community building with a clear understanding of land economics.
