The Positivity Project (P2) is a character education curriculum dedicated to empowering America's youth to build positive relationships and become their best selves. The premise is simple, but the results will be profound. In just 15-minutes a day, The Positivity Project helps schools develop a schoolwide common vocabulary, positive culture, and self-aware, empathetic students. By consistently teaching students to understand the strengths such as kindness, perseverance, and integrity in themselves and others, they build positive and enduring habits. Students will have enhanced self-confidence, stronger relationships, and an increased number of positive experiences – thereby cultivating a stronger sense of community at the classroom level and fostering a culture of character across the school. We provide educators with the resources, training, strategy, and on-going support to teach their students how to understand, appreciate and exemplify the character strengths in us all. Our fully-digital suite of Pre-K – 12 resources, built-in Google Apps, are easy and adaptable for teachers and engaging and impactful for students – whether learning is in-person, virtual, or hybrid. Our holistic model incorporates students, educators, and parents through regular engagement with positive psychology’s scientifically-validated 24 character strengths vocabulary and concepts. Schools dedicate one week to each strength – based on the national P2 calendar – to help students understand character through definitions, examples, discussions, and exercises.
