The Ripon Society is a public policy organization focused on advancing traditional conservative principles within the Republican Party. Based in Washington, DC, it aims to broaden understanding of constructive policies that support a secure nation, low taxes, and a smaller, more accountable federal government. The organization works to develop programs and actions that strengthen families, improve education, protect health and safety, promote a growing economy, and maintain national defense, while fostering lay engagement and governance that are participatory at local, state, and federal levels. Its activities are oriented toward informing and facilitating dialogue among policymakers and the public to discuss and implement innovative public policies within the party. In recent news, the group hosted a breakfast discussion with new members of the U.S. House of Representatives, illustrating its role in facilitating outreach and discussion among federal policymakers.
