The Rockwell Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate in Corning, New York, is a small- to mid-sized museum that centers on art and the American experience. Founded in 1976, its collection comprises about 3,000 objects with strengths in contemporary and historic Native American art, 19th-century landscapes, traditional bronze sculpture, and a growing body of modern and contemporary works. Housed in Corning’s former City Hall, the institution operates as a cultural hub offering exhibitions, programs, and events that connect residents and visitors with art and ideas.

The Rockwell Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and maintains two linked sites in Corning: the main Rockwell location at 111 Cedar Street and the KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab around the corner at 36 E. Market Street. The two sites offer a single admission that grants access to both locations, with discounted tickets available for locals, students, groups, and those aged 55 and over, while youth 17 and under can enter for free.
