Sater Design Collection was established in 1994. It was created by Dan F. Sater II, AIBD/CPBD/CGP, as an evolution from his award-winning custom home design business, The Sater Group, established in 1983. In an effort to combine custom quality designs with more affordable pre-drawn plans, Sater Design Collection has become one of the country's most recognized residential design firms specializing in luxury home designs. Sater Design Collection has been selling pre-drawn plans online since 1994. We are located in Bonita Springs, which is in Southwest Florida. In 1999, Dan designed and built our current facility (pictured left). Our online presence has allowed us to service customers from all over the country, as well as internationally. We have grown, along with the technology, and now offer plan customizations, a blog, and product reviews. In 2003, Verandah Publishing was created, which is our own in-house publishing company. In 1998, we published our first book of home plans, “The Cottages”. It was a great success and has been followed up with 12 more books. In 2001, we published our first magazine, “Florida Floor Plans”. Our latest publication is “Dan Sater's Ultimate Mediterranean Home Plans” book, which is filled with photos and floor plans of the best Mediterranean plans Dan has created so far. In addition to pre-drawn plans, Sater Design Collection also offers Customization Services. If you find a plan you like, but want to make a few minor changes, we can do that for you.
