Bentonne established a professional grants business after dedicating 10 years to working with educational dropout prevention initiatives that served at-risk youth in Miami-Dade County. After serving as Dean of Students at the Academy for Community Education, she became founding executive director of both Communities in Schools of Miami and the Burger King/McLamore Foundation; she also served briefly as CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Miami. She began serving a diverse group of organizations that needed an experienced, ethical nonprofit executive with excellent research, design, evaluation and writing skills to help them obtain grant funds. As of July 2018, The Snay Group’s award-winning grant applications total more than $40 million.
