The Spire School is a NEASC-accredited and Connecticut State-Approved Private Special Education Program serving students in grades 6 to 12 who benefit from a therapeutic, college-preparatory environment. Established in Stamford, CT, in 2010, Spire supports students who have experienced social or emotional challenges by helping them build the academic, organizational, and wellness skills needed for long-term success. Spire integrates rigorous, college-prep academics with individualized wellness plans, including health and wellness coaching, emotional regulation support, and personalized skill-building. This unique model allows students to progress academically while strengthening the social and emotional foundations required for independence and resilience. Students learn in small classes with highly trained educators, clinicians, and wellness professionals who collaborate to ensure each learner receives tailored support. Spire educators use a holistic approach focused on academic growth, emotional stability, and social development, creating an environment where students feel supported and empowered to thrive. Families and districts choose The Spire School because we provide a safe, nurturing, and structured community in which students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially while preparing for college and life beyond high school.
