The Stavola Companies operate as a family-owned group in the construction industry, based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The organization comprises divisions focused on Construction Materials, Asphalt, Recycling, Contracting, and Real Estate, and it maintains a network of quarries, asphalt plants, recycling centers, and sand-mining operations. It produces more than 6 million tons of construction materials each year and serves a mix of general contractors as well as public and private sector clients, including utilities and municipal, state, county, and federal agencies. Founded in 1948 by the sons of Joseph and Carmela Stavola, Stavola Contracting began as a core business and later evolved to provide earthwork, utility installation, milling and paving services. The Real Estate arm was established in 1955 and has developed and managed properties such as Edgewater Beach Club, along with shopping centers, offices, restaurants, and residential projects. In 2024, Stavola Holding Corp. was acquired by Arcosa, extending Arcosa's geographic footprint and its construction-materials platform in the New Jersey and New York region.
