Established and lead by surgeons since 2007, The Surgicalist Group is uniquely positioned to partner with your hospital in assessing and advising on the clinical, administrative, and logistical goals of your surgical divisions.  Our executive leadership team has an enormous breadth of experience across the healthcare continuum, and does not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ model. Thus, we build personalized programs for each hospital.  

As surgeons ourselves, we are well aware of the gaps inherent to the historic way of providing surgical coverage. When surgeons cover both their elective practice and call duties for the hospital, they simply cannot provide high quality service for both, and the hospital suffers. We see long Emergency Room wait times because a surgeon needs to finish office hours before performing a consult, or the operating room staff has to stay late because the on-call surgeon can’t get to an add-on case until after elective surgeries are completed.  These types of situations lead to decreased patient satisfaction, increased cost and poor outcomes.  This is what we solve!
