The University of Osaka is a national higher education institution based in Suita, Osaka, Japan. Founded in 1931, with roots dating back to the private Tekijuku established in 1838, it operates across three campuses as a major research university. It comprises 11 undergraduate schools and 15 graduate schools, supported by two university hospitals and a network of research institutes and shared facilities, including the Immunology Frontier Research Center as part of the World Premier International Research Center Initiative.
