Based in Baltimore, Maryland, The Upside Down Organization (UDO) was founded in 2007 to advance professional learning for child-serving professionals. It operates as the external training arm of The Children’s Guild, and is supported and staffed by the Guild's employees and other child-serving professionals. Through work in classrooms, group homes, foster homes, counseling centers in schools, and hundreds of homes across Maryland, UDO connects daily with children and youth across the academic and behavioral spectrum, pairing current research with practical application.
