The Ursuline School is a mid-sized Catholic, college preparatory school for young women in New Rochelle, New York, founded in 1897 by the Order of St. Ursula. Its mission centers on intellectual, spiritual, and moral development, with the aim of educating, inspiring, and empowering students to learn, lead, and serve. Rooted in the guidance of St. Angela Merici, the school emphasizes academic excellence and a commitment to the value of every individual within a supportive, student-centered environment. The Ursuline community seeks to celebrate diverse backgrounds and to bring together students and alumnae in a shared tradition of service. The school prepares its students for college and leadership roles, guided by the Ursuline tradition of Serviam. In January 2026, Robyn Summa was appointed principal, providing continuity in leadership as the school advances its programs and partnerships.
