The Women's Bakery (TWB) is an international social enterprise that helps women in East Africa lead their families and communities forward. We establish and operate professional local bakeries that set a cycle of positive impact in motion. Women earn irrevocable skills and stable incomes, children get the nourishment they need, and local communities benefit from freshly baked goods along with economic growth. Through our One Bread Project, we provide 25,000+ local school children with daily snacks fortified with the vitamins, nutrients, and protein they need to thrive.
