The Woodstock Academy is an independent, co-educational secondary school based in Woodstock, Connecticut, founded in 1801. It offers both college preparatory and vocational education, including post-graduate options, and serves day students from nearby towns through tuition contracts as well as day and boarding students drawn from across the United States and beyond. The school emphasizes academic rigor within a safe environment and provides a broad curriculum with electives designed to meet a diverse student population. Operating in the education administration programs sector, the academy focuses on preparing students for life after graduation and for continued higher learning. In February 2021, The Center for Woodstock History began collaborating with The Woodstock Academy to document the COVID-19 pandemic from Woodstock and the Quiet Corner of Connecticut.
