The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights is a non-profit legal services organization based in Chicago, Illinois. Its mission is to advocate for the rights of unaccompanied immigrant children, guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and applicable state and federal child protection laws. The organization operates the nation's only program that provides guardians ad litem, or Child Advocates, for trafficking victims and unaccompanied immigrant children. Child Advocates are bilingual volunteers trained and supervised by attorneys with experience in children's rights and immigration law; in each case, the Young Center provides the child’s attorney (if represented) and a report outlining the child's best interests to the decision-makers. The work with individual children informs the organization's policy and advocacy efforts. The organization has 51-200 employees and is located at 2245 South Michigan Avenue #301, Chicago, IL 60616, United States; its website is https://theyoungcenter.org.
