Since 2004, Therataxis has been advancing healthcare through pre-treatment planning, modeling and simulation of brain response to therapy, and device design for a more accurate delivery of therapy to the central nervous system and other hard tissue. Through such approaches, we are working towards being able to effectively treat complex and fatal diseases, including brain cancer, Parkinson’s disease, neurological diseases, and solid tumors. The appropriate pre-treatment analysis of the brain has traditionally been neglected. As a result, drugs often do not reach the cancer cells or common complications from drug delivery, such as edema and backflow which endanger surrounding healthy tissue, are not prevented.
