To satisfy the need for a source which could provide high precision painting for the automotive industry Thierry, a family owned business, was founded in 1996 in Stuttgart, Germany.

In 2004 due to the request from Thierry’s global automotive customers Thierry established a North American facility in Royal Oak, Michigan

Our unique technical equipment, which is completely enclosed and computer controlled, allows us to paint solvent, water and powder paints pneumatic or electrostatic in any requested combination while maintaining total control over humidity and temperature.

A majority of the global automotive manufacturers and paint suppliers have found Thierry to be the leading provider of high quality color standards (exterior and interior).
 
In North America Thierry now partners and represents three companies who are the European leaders in their fields of technology:
